Socorro County cold case - Part 1
Cold cases of serious crimes, murder, as a general rule, is outstanding, or remain pending for a longer period. There were cases in the county of Socorro cold territorial days until today.
The case of Brian Darling
In November 1997, New Mexico Tech student Brian Darling has increased as the habit of doing so. He had never seen or heard. Searches by law enforcement agencies and volunteers strawberry and Socorro there were no traces of peaks Brian.

They were at the Office of medical examinations for the identification and study law.
A month later, the IMO positive report which identified the missing as a student of Brian Darling. He was shot in the head with the handgun found in the vicinity, its death warrant suicide. A ceremony was held in Socorro family and friends of Brian Darling.
“These (Fall) I was really struggling for years,” Deputy Chief Preciliano “Shorty” said Vaiza El Defensor Chieftain (August 29, 2007 issue). If the body was not discovered, it is still One of Socorro County’s Unsolved Mysteries.
This unfortunate incident raises the question, “like many enigmas and cold water, not the case, it exists in the county of Socorro?” Search Socorro Chieftain old newspapers, and making contact with the Sheriff’s Department, east emerged as a lot of things. The fountain Case
On Feb. 1, 1896, Dona Ana County Assistant District Attorney Albert-fountains, and his son eight years, Henry, was the return of Lincoln in its home jurisdiction in Mesilla. Somewhere along the way, they were missing and presumed, was assassinated. So far, their bodies were never found.

Thanks to his efforts, many cattle thieves in the West County of Socorro, especially since the Quemado Horse Springs, were arrested, and attempts to prison sentences. The tests took place in Socorro County Courthouse.
